Dalia’s POV

In the morning, I woke up to an empty bed and my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach. He promised he wasn’t going to leave again and yet he did. My heart sank and I did not know when tears fell down my cheeks.

I stood up to get dressed when the door opened. I screamed and tried to wrap the duvet around me to prevent the intruder from checking out my body.
