Alexander’s POV

I looked at my angel sleeping peacefully beside me and my heart constricted painfully. I gently detangled myself from her without waking her up and rolled onto my back, facing the ceiling.

Why now? The question I’ve been asking myself popped up in my head again. I already had my private investigator look up on Ava. Where she had been in the last 3 years, her career, whom she had been with, I wanted every fucking information about her.

Taking one last look at how amazing and beautiful Dalia looked, I quietly exited the room.

I checked in on my princess and she was also sleeping peacefully too. I sighed deeply before closing the door and walking towards my study.
