I heard the door to the room Dalia was open and my jaw dropped when I looked in that direction. If there was a word that describes how she looked in that moment, I’m sure I had never heard of it.

Amber, whom I was having a conversation with looked in her direction too and squealed happily. “Dalia, you’re so pweetty,” she said with her childlike innocence.
