Chapter 89

Dalia’s POV

The night was rough.

I kept turning and tossing and I could barely get a shut eye. It wasn’t until the early hours of the morning that I was able to sleep and it wasn’t pleasant at all.

I was jolted awake from a bad dream to find myself soaked with sweat. I couldn’t remember what the dream was about md I definitely didn’t want to remember it since it had me sweating and scared.

I checked the bedside digital clock and saw that it was just 7am. Memories of what happened yesterday flooded me and I pinched myself repeatedly to stop my tears from falling.

I picked up my phone and dialed Chelsea’s number. I had already dialed her number before I realized that she might still be sleeping. I was about to hang up when her sleepy voice came through the receiver.

“I swear this better be important or I might just eat your intestines for breakfast,” she swore at me. I chuckled a bit before the waterfalls broke and I started crying.
