Chapter 95

Dalia’s POV

Right there in front of me was an almost naked Ava straddling Alexander and he wasn’t pushing her away. I stood speechless by the door and stopped breathing for a while.

I didn’t know what I was expecting when I stepped into the office and closed the door behind me. I met Alexander’s eyes and for a moment, for a fleeting moment, his eyes softened and he looked like he didn’t want to be there.

But the emotions left his eyes as soon as they came and he looked exactly like the Alexander I knew when I started working for him- emotionless and heartless.

“Why are you here?” His voice was cold and devoid of emotions as he asked that question.

My usually nonchalant subconscious deflated with sadness and I would have fell to the ground right there and then but I wanted to hear what he had to say about what was going on.

I opened my mouth a few times to speak but nothing came out of my mouth. I was so betrayed, heartbroken and totally dum
