Chapter 22. The First Time (1)

The taxi stopped at the front of the WLS apartment. Paying the driver, Amy stood there, licking her dry lips. This was it! She would sell her body to Samuel. Sighing, Amy strolled to the lobby. 

The receptionist smiled at Amy. “Good evening, miss. May I help you?” 

“Good evening. I want to visit Mr. Hoffner, please.” Amy couldn’t help it, but her cheeks blushed after mentioning Samuel’s last name. 

“Ah, yes, Mr. Hoffner called earlier. Are you Miss Brooke?”

Amy nodded. “Yes, I’m Miss Brooke.”

“Wonderful! Please have a seat first. I need to make a call.” Then, after calling, the staff smiled again at Amy. “Miss Brooke, please wait here. Someone will escort you to Mr. Hoffner’s place.”
