Chapter 32. Visiting Jillian

After the lawyer left the apartment, Amy hugged Samuel. Her eyes sparked with tears because she was happy that he fulfilled his promise to her. 

“Hey, why are you crying?” Samuel wiped her tears. 

“I’m too happy. You truly did as you said.”

He shrugged. “I told you, I would do it. Now, let’s go to visit my grandma. But I must call her first, in case she isn’t at home.”

“Darling, can we visit the hospital first before we go to your grandma’s house? It’s been two days since I saw Jillian.” 

“Sure!” Samuel nodded. “Don’t worry.” 

“I’ll change my clothes first.” Amy walked to her room. 

Waiting for Amy to change her clothes, Samuel called Vivian. Soon, his grandmother picked up the phone. 

“Samuel? I’m so happy you called.”
