Chapter 93. A Dilemma

Amy went home to see Shane was sleeping. She smiled and closed the door of his son’s room. The nanny waited for her to report what had happened today before she would go home. It was their routine. 

After Amy sat, the nanny said, “Ms. Brooke, today Shane went home from the kindergarten with Mr. Samuel Hoffner.”

Amy nodded and let out a sigh. “Yes, the teacher called me first before allowing Shane to go home with Mr. Hoffner.”

“Uh, I wonder something. Shane normally doesn’t accept strangers so easily, but he looked so close to Mr. Hoffner, and Mr. Hoffner also showed that he liked Shane.”

“What did Mr. Hoffner say?” Amy asked. Her heart beat fast. She wondered if it was the time to tell Samuel and Vivian everything, but she didn’t know where she should start. Amy was worried too that Samuel and Vivian would take Shane away from her. 

“He asked me to contact him if Shane needed anything. Mr. Hoffner gave me his business card and he asked me to give him
