I tapped gently on her door, but I didn't hear any response whatsoever ushering me to come in.

"You can just go right in. I bet she won't be offended," Her mum said to me.

I sighed. It had been almost twenty minutes since I had been standing at her doorstep knocking and calling out her name, but she failed to respond.

Her mum shot me a small reassuring smile, urging me to go in even though she hadn't told me to yet.

I smiled back at Eunice Sanders, her mum who had a great and hospitable personality, which was quite surprising as I was aware of the mean old grumpy Gilbert Sanders being her husband.

It was strange that although they both seemed like the direct opposite of each other, they had been married for a notable period of years. Wow, not all birds of a feather flocked
