Chapter 151. My Fears, My Efforts

Alice slammed the door of the car angrily before bursting into tears; her heart ached in a way it had never, and her body shivered as reality began to dawn on her.

“I’ve lost everything,”she wept,”everything is gone, my friends, my wealth, all hope, everything has been taken away from me.”

She sniffled her left mucous into the right, placed her palm on the wheel, and clenched her fist around it tightly.

Dani’s words echoed in her ears, and it made her body tremble; she could imagine herself becoming a laughing stock, from being a somebody to a nobody. It drives her insane; it makes her body quiver, and she wishes to break whatever she lays her hands on to vent her emotions.

After some minutes, her sobs and cries stopped, and she lifted her head slowly with a switch of emotions. Her disheartened heart was replaced with the flame of rage and hatred, her eyes lit up with a dangerous glare, and her weak hands tightened around the wheel
