Nathan’s POV

Amelie and Madison were taking an awfully long time in the washroom.

“I’m going to go see if there was a problem. The girls have been gone an awful long time,” I advised Mr. Duval.

“They are probably just talking each other’s ears off,” Mr. Duval chuckled.

I stood and saw them heading back towards us. Amelie had a weird look on her face.

I stood up, hugged her, and placed a small kiss on her lips. “Is everything ok, kitten?”

“Aww, you call her kitten?” Mr. Duval said, smiling.

“Yes, everything is great, baby,” Amelie replied.

“The kitchen took your meal back to keep it warm,” I advised.

“Oh, that was nice of them,” Amelie said, smiling.
