Chapter 19. The Shower

Amelie’s POV

As soon as Nathan left the room, I headed to the ensuite. OMG…this bathroom is HUGE, and look at that bathtub. I think it can fit at least four people! I searched through the bathroom drawers and cabinets and found a bottle of expensive bubble bath. Mission number 1…a bath! I started running the water in the tub and poured in the bubble bath. I inhaled deeply. It smells like lilies, my favorite. I stripped out of my clothes, setting them aside neatly. I have nothing to wear, so I will have to make do with these clothes until we can go shopping tomorrow morning. I’ll just have to go commando underneath them. I remember that I had a hair elastic in my messenger bag to tie my hair up while I was in the tub. I draped the robe around myself loosely and headed out to the bed to search for my bag. I take three steps outside the bathroom and realize Nathan has just walked in.
