Dante: Mom?

Mom: Were you ever going to tell us you had a girlfriend and let us meet her?

Dante: We just started dating.

Mom: Doesn’t look like that to me. You look like you’re in love. I’m so happy for you.

Dante: Mom, it’s just the beginning of the relationship

Mom: Dante. The pictures don’t lie. You’re in love with the girl.

Dante: *sigh* I do love her, Mom. How do I get her to love me?

Mom: Oh, Dante. You can’t force someone to love you, but you can be the man we raised you to be. If she doesn’t love you for you, it wasn’t meant to be.

Dante: As always, that’s good advice.

Mom: We love you, be true to yourself.
