Kimmy’s POV

We arrived in Nice, France, and took a luxury private helicopter to Monte Carlo, Monaco. The flight along the coastline was spectacular. I was buzzing with excitement. I had literally never traveled anywhere. My mom and dad were lower-middle-class. My brother and I never wanted for anything, but we never had brand-name clothing, fancy vacations, or the latest technology. In fact, I got my first phone a month before I moved to New York.

Wow… mansions and buildings were scattered in the hills and rocky terrain. White beacons of life that nestled into the forest and fauna. It was beyond beautiful. Dante reached over, held my hand, and then lifted it to his lips.

“What are you thinking about?” Dante asked me.

“It’s so elegant and beautiful here. It’s very surreal that I’m actually here,” I said, smiling.
