Chapter 15. How To Support Her
On the other side, Kane massaged his wrist lazily, walking forward with an expression void of any excess emotion as if he hadn’t just angrily punched someone.
“Why did you punch him just now? Do you and him have some grudge from the past?”
Ryan, the type who enjoyed gossip, quickly approached to inquire, seemingly finding Kane’s sudden emotional outburst quite interesting. After all, since Kane had taken Lani as his secretary, he had consistently worn a cold, emotionless face, robotic and indifferent. Today, the robot unexpectedly raised a hand to strike someone, a rare occurrence.
But Kane wasn’t in the mood for words. His demeanor was not particularly good, and he continued to massage his wrist, speaking deliberately.
