Chapter 72

Nadia sat at a regular bar and ordered a glass of margarita, while trying to distract herself from the disturbing thoughts which continued to plague her mind.

She decided to leave home and have fun by herself, since Stacy was not coming home that night, and because it was something she rarely did for herself.

All her life, she had slaved away to side jobs and endless bills, to provide for herself and her family. Even while she was still in school, she worked herself to deep exhaustion doing part-time jobs during the day, and studying all night to maintain balance in her life.

She could never buy good things for herself, enjoy her youth, or treat herself to good things because she was busy saving every penny she earned to be able to sponsor herself and her family. It had been tough all her life, but yet she had put up with it.

However, she could not believe that she almost lost her job to a mere lady's fight over a guy. It made her rethink everything she
