Chapter 76

We reached Richard’s Villa and Peter slowly opened the door. He told us that everyone had gone to sleep, and his dad had collapsed after coming back home. So, the doctor was called, and he gave him medication and finally, he went to sleep. 

He guided us upstairs where Beth and Moa were sleeping. Lara was given another room and she was already asleep. As I entered the room I saw Moa was sitting on Beth’s lap and she was trying to make him sleep. The moment I entered Moa looked up at me and started crying. My heart went numb, as I had never seen my baby crying so miserably. 

I immediately took him in my arms and hugged him tightly. 

“Shhh…Honey, what happened why are you crying…. Did you have a bad dream?” I whispered and asked him softly. He was still crying, so I gestured for everyone to go out of the room. After everyone left I kissed him on his cheeks and wiped his tears. He was still sobbing, so I hugged him and soothed him lovingly.

 “
