He guided me back to the parking lot and it had me wondering if whatever he wanted to tell me was really weighty that he had to lead me out of the hospital.

Finn pulled the passenger side of the car open and ushered me in. I was really confused as I had no idea why I was being taken into the car to make this call.

He climbed into the driver's seat and twisted the key, causing the engine to rev up before he began to back out of the parking lot.

"Where are we going, Finn? Is something wrong? Did Eliana ask us to get groceries?"

He shook his head. "Not at all. She didn't ask us to go anywhere. I just want to drive us somewhere so that we can talk."
