I didn't really feel comfortable with how agitated and uneasy she was.

Throughout the drive, she listened to loud music and blocked her ears with her air pod and that was when I knew she didn't want to talk to me.

It was nothing to fret about really. She was probably upset or something and I was going to leave her to do whatever she wanted. If that was going to make her comfortable enough to attend dinner, then so be it.

She had given me the address of her parents' home. One I knew very well. It was in Beverly Hills and close to a few places I had worked as an usher and bodyguard before.

"Finn!" She called over the loud music. I reduced the volume before turning to her for a brief moment.

"Yes?"

"Are you going to be comfortable staying outside?"

I thought she was mad at me. She looked quite concerned.
