Chapter 47

FINN

This week went by in a blur. The presentation had gone well and the Hawaiian clients were pleased and they had gotten a contract. 

Scarlett decided to hold a small celebration on the last day of work. 

Meanwhile, I had isolated myself from everyone, only appearing at least once or twice a day. Scarlett had been too engrossed in work to actually pay me any heed.

We had sex every night and during those periods, we bonded quite well. Scarlett and I talked, starting from our childhood moments to our moments of adulthood.

Every morning, one of us woke up in the other's room. I enjoyed waking up to her but I didn't tell her that. That would be going against the promise I made to myself not to fall for her.
