I was just diving into my second spoon when a knock sounded on the door. I covered my plate and wiped my mouth with the paper napkin Tiffany attached to the plate. I locked the door on purpose. I didn't want to be disturbed by anyone. 

Scarlett stood behind the door with raised brows. "Why did you lock your door?"

I shrugged and pulled the door wide enough for her to come in. "I really don't like being interrupted while eating,"

She stared at me for a moment and threw back her head in laughter. "You're one of those dudes that are too shy to eat before strangers,"

Frowning at her, I said, "I eat at restaurants. That's basically eating in front of several strangers compared to one person I know here."

"That's a restaurant, Finn. You know it." She countered.

I walked back to my seat and pulled the cover over my food open. "I really don't know what to say to you, Scarlett."
