Chapter 13

[Present day]

Giannis led Regina through the bustling hallways of the head office of Sanders Corporation, his hand firmly grasping hers as he weaved through the crowds of workers. Even though she didn’t want it to, Regina’s heart was pounding with excitement and anticipation, wondering what surprise he had in store for her.

As they reached the elevator, Giannis pressed the button and turned to Regina with a smile. “I hope you’re ready for this, Regina,” he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Regina nodded eagerly, her eyes shining with curiosity. “I can’t wait to see what you have planned. I just can’t wait to see what was worth abandoning my date like that,” she snapped, her voice filled with annoyance.

The elevator doors opened, and Giannis led her inside, pressing the button for the top floor. As they ascended, Regina couldn’t help but marvel at the stunning view of the city skyline from the windows that lined the elevator.
