Chapter 28
Regina was just stepping out of the law firm with Giannis in tow when she saw Benjamin Sanders making his way into the building.
He stopped at the sight of her and tried his best to button his blazer, although his protruding belly protested the motion.
Giving up, he reached Regina’s side and greeted with a mischievous smile, “It’s a beautiful morning, isn’t it, Regina darling?”
Regina eyed him with malice and turned to nod at Benjamin’s obnoxious wife, who was grinning as though she had just won a jackpot.
“With all due respect, Benjamin. My husband and I have no time for your childish games,” Regina snapped.
Her anger at the moment was boiling over a hundred degrees. She couldn’t believe the nerve of her father. Why would he include such a clause in the will? Why wasn’t it discussed earlier? Why now, when she had gone as far as marrying the one person who had shattered her heart once before?
