Chapter 60

They finally arrived at Sandra and Matthew’s mansion. Regina couldn’t mask her excitement as she had been looking forward to attending her best friend Sandra’s baby shower/husband’s birthday party for weeks. She and Giannis had bought the perfect gift for the new baby.

Regina had refused to tell Giannis the sex of the baby despite the number of times he had asked her to. She was really excited to know that she truly had Giannis’s heart now.

“You know what I am thinking?” Giannis suddenly quizzed as they made their way towards the stairs.

“What?”

“I’m just thinking of snuggling with you in bed. Don’t get me wrong, I want to be at this party, but being alone with you is much more fun.”

“Oh, stop,” she said, playfully smacking his shoulder. When they walked into the party, they were greeted with the sound of laughter and music. The decorations were beautiful, and the food smelled delicious.

“Happy birthday, Matthew,” she and Giannis said in unison.
