Chapter 106. The Surprise Visitor

Sofie’s POV 

"Are you done?" I asked the make-up artist as she began to put the beauty supplies away.

"Yes, Ma'am." She nodded, to which I sighed in relief before staring at my reflection in the vanity mirror.

The realization that today was the day Roman and I would legally become one forever, felt real at that moment, and it caused tears to pool in my eyes.

I sighed, and managed to blink my tears away before it smeared the make-up artist's hard work.

I had no idea why I was crying on such a beautiful day.

"Oh, babe." Amy's voice wafted into my ears before I felt her hands on my shoulder. "Tears of joy, huh?"

She was my matron of honor, just like how I had been her maid of honor at her own wedding.

Amy had gotten married to Damien three months ago, after they had both dated for a year, in an intimate ceremony which had just their family, and close friends in attendance.
