Chapter 107. Our Perfect Wedding
"They are here." Damien whispered into my ear, and I instantly whipped my head around so fast, I almost dislocated my neck.
We were both standing at the altar, waiting for my beautiful bride to arrive.
"It's happening." I said, and he squeezed my shoulder in reassurance.
"And it will be fine. Everything will go well." He said, his voice tinged with conviction.
"I hope so."
"Let me go get her. I'll be right back with your wife in a few." He winked, and clapped my shoulder before trekking out of the garden.
My eyes met with Nana's elated ones, and she darted me a smile as she gently stroked her chest, as if to calm my livid nerves.
"You'll be fine, figlio." She mouthed, and I nodded, mirroring her smile.
My heart hammered against my chest in a mix of nervousness, and excitement as the bridal entrance song played, and the onlookers stood up to watch Sofie enter the venue.
