I walked toward Sofie, smirking inwardly as she fidgeted with her shirt sleeves, even though the shirt was technically mine. I basked in the proud sensation that engulfed me when I saw how reddened her cheeks were and how she couldn’t seem to hold my gaze, keeping her eyes fixated somewhere behind me instead.
