Chapter 16. Unexpected Jealousy

I entered Mr. Rey's car awkwardly. It was supposed to be a special evening, and I felt like I was being treated like a princess. Mr. Rey was a true gentleman, even opening the car door for me. I felt guilty for forcing a smile and whispering a thank you.

Throughout the journey, it was only Mr. Rey who spoke. It turned out that Rachel couldn't meet Noah because she wanted to stay over at her friend's house.
