While waiting for Alden to wake up, Alice chose to check the contents of her laptop. Maybe there were tasks that hadn't been done yet. She also contacted her friends on one of her social media accounts because she no longer had their phone numbers.

Sitting cross-legged on the sofa with her laptop on her lap, Alice occasionally glanced at Alden, who was still sleeping. She hoped her husband would recover soon because she missed the gruff and indifferent presence of Alden.
