The silent atmosphere seemed unable to bring the married couple, who were now lying together, but both unable to fall asleep. It wasn't that they weren't sleepy, but rather, they were lost in their own thoughts. Alice was thinking about how to ask for permission to stay overnight at the dressmaker's, while Alden was trying to figure out the strange feeling growing inside him.

Especially when he recalled Edrik and Deno's words from the other day. His two friends urged him to take a step further to ensure that their marriage and life with Alice would be perfect. They hoped for a happy ending just like Deno's. However, Alden was still digesting these matters more deeply.

There was a failed example of implementing such an approach not too far away. Andika was often on the verge of leaving his wife. But, considering their two children, he tried to be patient and let the marriage run its course without any highlights or impressions. Alden didn't want that to happen to his marriage.
