Chapter 74. The Break In

Reign’s POV

I was sleeping soundly when I got a phone call

"Hello" I answer

"Mr. Stevens someone tried to break into your old apartment" he tells me

"Can you detain the person I’ll be right there" I ask

"Yes sir"

I hang up

Zia moves and opens her eyes

"Did I wake you?" I ask her

"Kind of" she shrugs

"I’m sorry. Go back to sleep, I have to go out for a couple of hours" I kiss her forehead

"Come back soon" she murmurs

"Yes ma’am"

I get up, put a jeans, and a casual white top a pair, of sneakers and a leather jackets (All in black)... I have the driver drive to my old apartment.

When I got there a window was smashed in and the front door was off its hinges

"What the hell happened here?" I ask while getting out of the car

"Sir it was a woman who claims to be your girlfriend" he
