Caroline’s POV

He brushed his fingers through his hair as if he had just taken a bath. His lips opened as if to utter something but then closed again. He rose and proceeded to the location where I had thrown his coat earlier, from the level of our bodies. He shook it, and in the flash of an eye, I was standing, enveloped in the coat he had picked up, with no portion of my body visible because the coat was large enough to cover my entire body.
