Chapter 20

Elysia's POV

"Becca!" Her name leaving my lips as though I could feel life slipping from me.

My beating heart paused as my gaze were fix on my child.

The strength in my muscles weaken and I sprawled to my knees instantly. 

The wind suddenly became frigid, and the stomping sound of the guards and servants couldn't even be heard.

Tears streaming from my eyes and every gashes crushing every bones in my body. 

It was as though I was thrown into an abyss of great misery.

"Becca!" 

She laid in cold blood, her eyes clenched and her body stiff as though she was dead.

I kept wobbling my head in shock. The taste of salt melts on the tips of my lips as phlegm was dripping from my nose.

"Becca!" Ian's voice snapped me out of my woolgathering of thoughts, and instantly I rushed to my child.

"Becca!" I held her in my arms, she was speechless and I could barely feel her breathing.
