Chapter 23. Quest for Models

Nina’s POV

As I stared at Alexander’s name on my screen, I pursed my lips and furrowed my brows, I hesitated for a while before my finger clicked on his message.

‘How do you feel knowing that Leo lost the bet and the information you provided me was of great importance?’ the message read.

I furrowed my brows, and sighed inaudibly. I bit down on my lower lips and tilted my head slightly, trying to think of something good to reply to his chat with.

I pursed my lips once again and read through the message once again, trying to come up with a suitable reply.

Just then, Nora’s voice rang out, cutting through the silence in the room.

“Nina…” she groaned as she threw a pillow at me but I avoided it successfully. “I am so bored!” She stressed with a groan again.

“You told me to come to your house and act as your emotional support but you have me waiting and staring at you as you work on your phone!” She complained with a pout on her lips.
