Chapter 34. A Wave of Excitement

Alexander’s POV

I strode to the extreme end of the conference table, my expression serious and stoic as I spoke to my conference team members.

“Your performance has been good over the week, but I would not say it was satisfactory enough,” I spoke up, my gaze fixed on them. “You all need to improve your performance in your various departments so that we would be able to keep up our reputation as the best company in the state.”

My team meets nodded their heads in sync as they wrote down some things on their notepads.

I paused for a moment and strode towards the large led screen and operated on the spreadsheet graph to show my company’s performance over the week.

“It’s fair, but got satisfactory as you all can see,” I continued, pointing at a point in the graph. “I want to see something new, something different, something that would make our company stand out.”

Their gazes were fixed on me as they nodded, still scribbling down some things.
