Chapter 35. The Big News

Nina’s POV

As I sat on my bed, I stared into my phone, groaning with boredom. I had finished my chores for the day and was now bored out, nothing interesting was happening in my life.

Just then, my phone suddenly buzzed, indicating that I had received a notification.

My heart skipped a beat as I held my breath, receiving notifications already made me really excited.

I clicked on the notification which redirected me to my email box and on the heading, there was a bold ‘competition update’ as the subject line.

Almost immediately, my heart skipped a beat, my hands becoming sweaty and shaky as I tapped on the email I had received. I pursed my lips, my nervousness rising to its peak. I didn’t know what the email was going to be about and I couldn’t help but feel really scared and panicked.
