Chapter 74. Her Temper

Sarah glanced. She could see Kate sent Adrian a candid photo of herself and Adrian holding hands while looking at each other affectionately. That picture was a screenshot from an online news portal that always reported about the activities of New York socialites. She gulped, praying no one would recognize her.

Adrian quickly typed on his cell phone,

'Don't get me wrong, I'll explain everything to you, wait at the hotel. I'll be there soon!’

"Put your glass down; we have to get out of here now," Adrian said without looking at Kate. Sarah placed her wine glass carefully on the table, and before she could turn around, Adrian grabbed her hand and led her to the door.

"Aren't you leaving too early, Adrian?"

Suddenly, Laura Stone was standing in front of them. She looked at Adrian and Sarah in turn. Adrian sighed, "Mom, please?" he said tiredly.
