Chapter 77. Lunch Date

"Um, he must be busy right now; he's not answering my calls," said Sarah as she turned off her cell phone screen, hoping that Kate would change her mind.

"Of course, it's lunchtime! Come on, Kate, we can just eat at our favorite Italian restaurant," Adrian said, trying to grab Kate's hand, but she held his hand instead.

"No, we can just go there, can't we? Your fiance will be delighted with this surprise! Come on!" she moved her head, signaling Sarah to move quickly, and that was an order, not a question.

Having no choice, Sarah nodded, "Okay, we just need to walk. It's just across the street," she said as she took her handbag and stepped out of her desk. She didn't know what would happen next, but she was sure Calvin knew what he had to do.
