Chapter 33

"Hey." Apollo greeted me as I approached him. I sat next to him and nodded to him.

"Hey.."

The waiter immediately handed him a drink as soon as I sat down. Apollo took it and gave it to me.

It was butterscotch.

I took it and drank it. I simply looked in the direction where I left Joshua and Artemis earlier, but I couldn't see them because of the number of people blocking my vision.

I was really nervous, and the loud music coming from the big speaker inside the bar didn't help. I feel like my heart is beating with the roar of the speaker. Next, I took deep breaths to calm myself down.

"I didn't see you at the university earlier. Did you come in?" I heard Apollo ask next to me. He leaned in, so our bodies came closer together. I tried to put space between us, but he wouldn't let me. I felt one of his arms wrapped around my waist, which made me more nervous.

"I just visited Artemis." I
