Chapter 55

"Are you sure about that, my lady?"

I stopped putting my clothes in the suitcase and faced the laptop. I immediately met Loki's eyes, who were looking at me worriedly. I sighed and decided to face him through my laptop monitor.

"Do you think it's a bad idea, then?"

I sat on the bed and put the laptop on my lap. I tilted the screen so that Loki could see my face better.

I heard him sigh. "I don't. I trust your decisions, my lady. I'm just worried about you."

I told Loki that I would let Apollo come with us on our Ilocos trip tomorrow. I don't want to keep it a secret from him. I also want to know what he will say. If he stops me and says that my decision is wrong, And if he tells me to leave Apollo behind, then I will.

But it seems like Loki wanted me to decide on my own. His trust in me is so great that sometimes I am worried that I might disappoint him with my wrong decisions.
