Chapter 58

"I can't find Apollo anywhere."

My heart beat faster when I heard the name Artemis mentioned, so I looked at her. Her forehead wrinkled in a frown as she stomped her way to the bed. She sat beside me and heaved a deep sigh.

"I've been looking for him for a while, but I can't find him!" she ranted out.

I looked away from him when I remembered what happened last night. Apollo saw the kiss that Loki gave me. And I could see the pain in his eyes when he looked at me before turning away. It was pain that I saw in his eyes.

It was obvious that he was hurting because of Loki. Since Loki arrived, his behavior has changed. He doesn't approach me like that anymore when I'm with Loki. It's as if he accepts that he has nothing against him.
