Tyr’s POV

The first indication that Tyr had that something was off was when he spotted the crippled alpha. That was the moment he knew, deep down within him, that he was going to die.

At first, he shook his head as he skidded to a stop, his mind refusing to accept the image his eyes projected onto it.

Lucien Vine, the same man that Marcus had sworn was currently rotting in the forest, stood before him, standing tall with his grip on a cane ---- very much alive.

The same man who had been paraded around as crippled, broken and dead now leaned on a cane without a single care in the world. As if he wasn’t getting attacked by dozens of lycan warriors.

Shock hit Tyr like a fist to his gut. Some of his men had noticed his shock and his falters, but all of them were too bloodthirsty to notice that something was wrong. His blood froze in his veins as he growled and continued his lunge.
