Joan’s POV

The big day was here the duel and Lilian and I were to go first.

It was a grueling match as we gave our all but at the long run Lilian emerged the victor. It was shocking to most people especially the gamblers as they had placed hug bets that I would be the one to win.

I activated my Alpha and did all I could, it reached a point I started burning out my life force to keep up the fight. That was the backside of being an Alpha, there is amount of power you would require and you would need to burn your life force to get it.

If I want to really kill Lilian, taking for instance she was my enemy I would have to burn considerably two thirds of my life force and I would not last long.

Lucky enough for me it was not a death match so when I saw that I had started using my life force to continue the match I had to forfeit the match.
