Chapter 96
I woke up very early the next day with a strong determination to visit Jamal who had made me remember things that I used to value way back.
When I called Jamal, he informed me that he was volunteering in an orphanage home where kids who had no parents spent their time just looking for someone who was ready to love them, and embrace them for who they were.
I was really touched after I spoke with Jamal before informing him that I was on my way to where he was.
“Just wait for me,” I said. “I will soon be there.”
I quickly got dressed and headed out the door, my heart racing with excitement to see Jamal again and to witness the meaningful work he was doing. The memories of our childhood friendship flooded back as I made my way to the orphanage.
