Chapter 37. Trapped

Martins went into the kitchen and brought out the ingredients of what he was planning to cook. He was planning to cook for Serena, and he wasn’t sure whether she would trust him and eat.

He doubts that. Her phone, which was inside his pocket, started vibrating. He stopped what he was doing and brought the phone out.

Isaac sighed, not knowing what to do. Switching her phone off will tell Isaac that something is wrong with Serena. He picked up the phone and answered the call.

“Hey Serena, where have you been?” Isaac asked from the other end, sounding very worried.
