Chapter 43. The Maid’s Seduction

Serena sat down by the kitchen stool and watched as Isaac prepared noodles for them to eat. “But why Noddles?" Serena asked out of curiosity. She was confused about having noodles instead of other meals.

"It’s the fastest meal I know how to prepare. I don’t even know how to prepare a lot, just a few, but this is the fastest. I sometimes make it by myself at the king’s castle," Isaac slightly turned to reply to her.

"Oh," Serena shook her head.

"I eat Noddles every time, especially when I was still staying with my half-sister and her father," Serena enunciate.

"Really? You never told me." Isaac looks bewildered at Serena.

"I never did? Okay, maybe I never did." Serena sighed.

"I wonder how they are doing anyways. If I had my phone with me right now, I could have called Kate and find out how they are doing," Serena thought out loud.

Isaac paused for a second before continuing wit
