Chapter 40. Disturbing Heat

Isaac was closer to the gate when he noticed the men there rushing in. He became curious as to what was going on inside the estate.

"Hey, what are you looking for?" One of the few remaining men there questioned. Isaac ignored him and kept going closer to them.

The three remaining men there looked at themselves, they gave each other signal, and one of them moved forward to approach Isaac. He stood in front of Isaac, blocking him from moving any further.

"Huh, do you see that? Isaac is speaking with them. He is crazy, and he will implicate us and end up killing his sister that he so much wants to save," Grey grimaced to Kendrick, who wasn’t paying attention to him.
