Greg’s brows creased into a frown. When had she told him all this? Was it in the morning? Well—his thoughts had only been occupied with one person, he wouldn’t have recalled everything said to him then even if a microphone was pressed to his ears.
He’d been anxious, as well as nervous. He’d even had the urge to race to her parents’ mansion and let everything unfold in his presence. He had the urge to go there and see what the outcome of the meeting would be. Even though he already anticipated the outcome.
“So, isn’t it better to start forging our relationship from now?” Thea went on to trace her fingers down his arm. “After all, I shall be your temporary assistant. Your personal assistant for a while.”
She put emphasis on the word personal and batted her lashes again.
