Chapter 45. Love Confession (1)

An hour later, they arrived at another hotel where they had been staying for the past two weeks.

Carl walked inside his suite, and after taking a bath, he took out his phone and dialed a number.

“How’s she?” he said, while sitting on his bed after the call connected.

“There has not been any sign of them recently… rest assured boss, miss is safe.” Came the voice from the other end.

He was one of the men assigned to secretly watch over and protect Clara if their enemies tried to ambush her again without interfering in her personal life.

“Mm,” Carl murmured and lay down on the bed.

The man from the other end wanted to open his mouth and say something but instantly stopped as his boss only told them to watch over her not to report anything else except if the enemies attack. However, he contemplated for a while before deciding to tell him that she was in the hospital.

But before he could speak he heard the beeping sound of the phone han
