Zach shook his head and watched her back with a chuckle, wondering what she was up to again. Ever since she joined them from the day they rescued her with so many other kids from the burning orphanage four years ago, he noticed that she would steal glances at him whenever she thought he was not looking. He didn’t take it seriously as he had always receive that kind of look from almost every girl around him.
They had eventually gotten closer and even became best friends as she was a social butterfly just like him, even though she was younger by three years.
He broke out of his trance and squinted through the crowd to catch a glimpse of the girl who had already disappeared in the dimly lit room.
